Suffering from arthritis and osteoporosis may send a person looking for answers to the doctor however, many are finding a remedy to their ailments in an unexpected place: the laundry detergent isle. Although commonly known as a laundry detergent and household cleaner, Borax (sodium borate) is a form of the mineral boron sourced from dried salt lakes and has been proven to have no contamination, making it identical to pharmaceutical grade boric acid. Less toxic than table salt, the efficacy of Borax has been minimized while it is very likely that the majority of people are severely deficient. Boron is distributed throughout the body with the highest concentration in the parathyroid glands, followed by bones and dental enamel.

Benefits of Borax:

Alkaline with a pH between 9 to 10.
Pneumonia, Lupus, Arthritis, Osteoporosis because of strengthened immune system.
Antimicrobial, anti parasitic, kills fungus and aids in ridding yeast overgrowth.
Acne remedy, face and body exfoliant.
Chelates fluoride (more to come on fluoride toxicity) and protects against uptake of fluoride.
Normalizes hormonal imbalances. Boron affects steroid hormones, and results in calibrating sex hormones. It increases low testosterone levels in men and oestrogen levels in menopausal women. In addition, because of its ability to normalize hormones, it can be an aphrodisiac for both men and women.
Boron plays a part in converting vitamin D to its active form, which contributes to increasing calcium uptake into bone and teeth rather than causing soft tissue to calcify.
Maintaining healthy bones and teeth. Boron manages calcium, magnesium and phosphorus through its interaction on the parathyroid glands. With this, boron is for the parathyroids what iodine is for the thyroid. Interestingly, when people supplemented their diet with additional boron, bone fractures heal in about half the normal time in both people and animals. Boron deficiency causes greatly increased amounts of calcium and magnesium to be lost with the urine. A boron supplement will reduce the daily loss of calcium by nearly 50%.
Reduces inflammation.
Enhances immune function.

How to take Borax:

When buying Borax, make sure there are no added fragrances. On average, a 150 pound person could safely add 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of Borax to 1 liter of water that is sipped throughout the day for five days on and two days off. Do not be deterred by the ominous warnings on the box. Adding borax to bath water is also effective as it will be absorbed by the skin. On a daily basis I add it to my Sigg bottle with MagCalm and some other supplements with the knowledge that when I am sufficient in minerals, my body is less likely to absorb other toxic metals such as Aluminum (Chemtrails), as well as Mercury and other heavy metals that are omnipresent in our toxic environment. My girls bathe in Borax a few times per week.

As with any new health remedies, it is always better to start low and go slow.
